My mum and I were out in the back garden yesterday and found two hedgehogs sunbathing on the grass
One looks bigger than the other maybe there will be baby hedgehogs in the garden soon
I don’t know if there is another name for a baby hedgehog anybody out there know
Dave has now decided that they might need a drink of water so not only do we feed all the wild birds in Insch he is thinking the hedgehogs need watered to

Last night Bennachie Singers hosted a concert in aid of their group
and Friends of Insch hospital (who are raising money to build a new hospital for Insch ) in St Drostans church Insch
I had a fantastic time listening to a group of very talented ladies singing their hearts out ( and I knew all the songs they sang )
Helen Radford formerly of Enticing Icing (she made our daughters wedding cake) sang a solo in Gaelic it was beautiful
The Strathbogie and Garioch fiddlers played a few jigs– I was swinging on my seat !
The Grumpy old men played a few traditional Scottish music — oh how I wished we could get up and jig with them they were not grumpy at all !
The compare for the evening had us laughing and cheering
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of talented people there are in our ‘wee village’
Everyone involved made it an enjoyable evening for all of us
My only gripe is How long until the next concert !!
