Charge For Single Use Carrier Bag

The charge for a single use carrier bag will take effect on Monday 20th October

It is somewhat confusing calling this a “Single Use Carrier Bag Charge”

As I have to charge 0.05p for a bag whether it is plastic or paper with or without handles

Please try to take your own bag with you when you shop or plenty of 0.05p’s

I will have some recycled Carrier bags in the shop

The only bag that is exempt from the charge is a very small paper bag ( the size of a greeting card)
